"Hilary Clinton? What a morally reprehensible person! How can anyone not see her for what she is? - - She is totally amoral. Whatever Trump's shortcoming, he is much more honest."

"When did it become O.K. for our government to behave as if the end justifies the means? this flies directly in the face of the rule of law of "our Republic"?"

"You are right on the money. I live in Cleveland, Ohio -- the most corrupt city in America! Most people have heard of Elliot Ness from his activities in Chicago. Most people don't know that after Chicago, he came to Cleveland at the behest of civic-minded people here to clean-up the city. Elliot Ness was quoted as that "Cuyahoga County (Cleveland's county) was the most corrupt in America". Elliot Ness was unable to make an impact here -- the corruption was so deep. Nothing has changed. Currently two high ranking county officials have been convicted of bribery and other crimes by the Federal Government. But that is the tip of the iceberg. The downtown Councilman Jose Cimperman is currently under FBI investigation for influence peddling and other crimes, which in Cleveland are known as business as usual. Are local businesmen, John Carney, Jr., Mike Carney, Bob Raines, Tony George, Bobby George, Joe Santosuosso, Paul Anthony closely involved in Concilman Cimperman's crimes? Does the FBI care? Does anyone care? I don't think so. We have a mayor here who keeps his head in the sand about these matters. I am fed-up. I hope you publish so some attention is given to these matters. Thank you for your time."       D.H.

"Yeah, what about Bobby George? Drug dealing, underage alcohol sales, a questionable drowning on his boat? Why no legal action? Talk about corruption? Where are the Cleveland Police? Where are the State Liquor Control agents? Cleveland IS totally crooked? The police only come down on those who don't pay off? Where is the FBI? I am Fed up also. I would like to leave this mess behind, but I can't due to personal obligations. This city is hopeless. There is no honest leadership. When will we all wake up and do something about this?"

"Public corruption is rampant in Cleveland. Virtually everyone in City government is in a position to peddle influence does. I am sick of it!

John Carney while head of the Port Authority used inside knowledge gained from that position to his advantage. He bought real estate at a reduced cost, because of the knowledge. Was he prosecuted? NO! Again the absolute corruption here. Those who "own" the politicians get away with murder. When will this stop?"

"The Davis-Bacon Act is a travesty. It costs taxpayers billions of dollars. Because of Labor union control of our wonderful legislators, prevailing wage = union scale. Thise is nonsense! Competent skilled labor is available for less money everywhere but our government pays top dollar!! What do the politicians care? They get labor union support and they can always raises taxes to pay the extra costs. I am fed up!"

" Joe Cimperman is the epitome of what is wrong with Cleveland. His hypocrisy is beyond description. He is gay, but denies it because he probably would not get re-elected if it were public . He has even gone so far as to enter into a sham marriage and have children via artificial insemination! How dishonest! How corrupt. Is someone this corrupt a person to be in political power? What a crew we have running Cleveland!"
